Divisi

Divisi is a dual-perspective puzzle game developed in Unity 6 and FMOD Studio as part of the Games and Interactive Media Scoring capstone class at Berklee College of Music

What I did for this project:

  • Solo developer (with thanks to Oats for additional 3D modeling help!)

  • Designed, implemented, and mixed all audio assets in FMOD Studio (music, SFX)

  • Designed and implemented an original music system with procedural harmony and floating melody working in both FMOD Studio and Unity

Divisi is a game where the player views the world around them through two different perspectives simultaneously. The concept for this game originated from the Digital Narrative Theory and Practice class, where for our final project we were tasked with concepting an augmented reality game. While the original idea had the players experiencing this world in VR, I ultimately decided against it due to my general lack of experience with VR, and potential motion-sickness.

Entocosmology

Entocosmology is a simple project built to showcase audio implementation in games using Wwise, created as the final project of the Advanced Mixing in GAIMS class at Berklee

What I did for this project:

  • Designed, implemented, and mixed all audio assets in Wwise (music, dialogue, SFX)

  • Implemented smooth transitions between different quadraphonic ambiences, as well as different time of day and weather states

  • Composed interactive music using different techniques. including layering, branching, and melodic randomization

Apologies, but this section is still a WIP. Check back later to know more about the development of this game!

Bond: Wish of the Forest is a roguelite creature collector game developed as part of the capstone series of classes at University of California: Santa Cruz

Bond: Wish of the Forest

What I did for this project:

  • Designed and implemented a modular behaviour tree system for creatures with swappable abilities

  • Prototyped a behaviour tree visualiser to help debug creature behaviour ingame

  • Designed and implemented ability variants for creatures post-graduation

  • Designed and implemented new relics and items, as well as new enemies post-graduation

* while I did do music and most of the sound design for the game, I wanted to focus on the programming and design work I did for this game since I am planning on eventually rehauling the audio for this game to match my current standards

** this trailer was created right before graduation from UCSC, so gameplay footage is outdated

Apologies, but this section is still a WIP. Check back later to know more about the development of this game!
